Josephia Rouse always wanted to be an attorney. Her sister was killed when she was 14 years old. Her death was categorized as a suicide even though her body was found in the Delaware River and her car was found in Upstate Pennsylvania.
Since that day Josephia wanted to be able to understand her rights, the law and what was fair. Josephia went to law school in North Carolina and immediately after being barred began working in Baltimore, MD with her cousin Attorney James Rouse who has been an attorney for 35 years (Cousin Jimmy). Cousin Jimmy taught her all the tricks of the trade including how to provide a client with all options to vigorous defend or litigate their case; or how to resolve an issue economically. The family business thrives under the continued mission of helping people resolve their issues, protect their rights and move on with their lives.
